If you can’t see it clearly your customers can't either.
There is a good chance that you will LOOSE them to a competitor.
TWO-THIRDS of consumers surveyed for a study cited
“Web pages being too slow to load”
as their LEADING frustration with the mobile Web,
according to Don Aoki, senior vice president of professional services
at Keynote Competitive Research.
“The nearly 90 percent conversion rate confirms that restaurants can’t IGNORE mobile, and with a large user base that hasn’t yet decided on where they want to dine, there is a lot of room for mobile ads to HAVE influence,” said Bill Dinan, president of Telmetrics, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. “Three out of five users access the restaurant category without a specific location or brand in mind, but 75% notice mobile ads,” he said.
72% of consumers use their phones while they’re out and about. 63% use them while shopping. And the majority of cell phone owners most frequently use them for texting. Sending a Push-Notice is best when you want an INSTANT response tell them to “Show your phone to Server or at the register today for a special savings or to remember your appointment at 2 p.m.” Reminders, alerts, and interactive content get the BEST response from mobile customers. Remember, consumers use their phones on the go for short reminders that encourage physical action
– visiting your establishment, for example – go mobile. For more detailed content focused on future events, use email.
Easily the most important trend in the coming year – it is also the one that offers the biggest opportunity. Here’s the skinny – mobile internet use in the U.S. is set to overtake wired use by 2015 – and this shift is happening even faster for social media. To quote Facebook in last September’s quarterly SEC filing: “[We] anticipate that the rate of growth in mobile usage will exceed the growth in usage through personal computers for the foreseeable future.” What does this portend for the hospitality industry? Think it’s an accident that Google lists restaurants and bars on their smartphone browser and not on their desktop version? It is now estimated that 30% of all restaurant website traffic is mobile generated – and that number is not only growing, but also skews upward for a younger demographic with a relatively large discretionary income.
"In order to successfully grow your business, you’ll need to attract and then work to retain a large base of satisfied customers."
Inhandmarketing was created because of a need to help the small business market understand and get ready for today's MobileMarket. Searching for your business on a smartphone is different then searching on a PC. Just try it, you'll see the difference. You decide a Mobile Website (a bandage) or a Mobile App that allows a much easier and knowledgeable experience. Yesterday it was newspapers, magazines, radio and TV that is better known as "TRADITIONAL" marketing. Are you ready for Today's "MODERN" marketing? Where do you do most of you searching; on your Smartphone, Ipad, Tablet or PC?
Get more "BANG for your BUCK" when adding a "QR" code to your print advertising. It's like getting twice the return from your marketing budget. Make it easy for the customer to KNOW more of "Who You Are, What Your Doing, and "Where you're located." Are there any additional offers by going via the "QR" code?
This means that if your site is not MOBILE-FRIENDLY at least THREE OUT OF TEN visitors will find it useless – and that’s not even the worst part. If someone is browsing from their smartphone and CANNOT access your site they are going to go to the next option – which is might be a review site, such as Yelp, Open Table, Zagat or even Restaurant.com. The information these sites provide might be correct and possibly up to date, and you are also subject to the whims of your restaurant’s latest reviewer. Not an attractive scenario – but one that is, happily, easy to remedy by contacting INHANDMARKETING. We can handle your Mobile, Social and Marketing.

As Bob Dylan once said in song, "The Times They Are A Changing."
To keep your competitive edge during these changing times in addition to TRADITIONAL marketing
you need to be ready to adopt today's Modern marketing opportunities."
